Dare to be Charlie or D2BC is the collaboration of Daren Callow and Charlie Savigar.
Since forming in 2010 they have gigged extensively in the UK and have also made appearances overseas including Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee and Opera Catedral in Santiago, Chile.
Daren and Charlie have developed an eclectic mix of songs incorporating a variety of genres. With Charlie's classical background (City University London, Guildhall School of Music) and Daren's involvement in many rock bands (Air UK, Normal, Stars in Exile), the two compliment each other extremely well.
Their trademark tight harmonies, catchy hooks and lively shows make them a popular choice for promoters. They have supported Public Service Broadcasting and shared the same bill as Echo & The Bunnymen, Toploader and Roachford.
Daren and Charlie are proud endorsees for TC Helicon and Rotosound strings respectively.
